Nicole Soria, MBA 

Sr. Paralegal, USMC Veteran

Nicole Soria is a third-generation combat veteran who joined the Veterans Law Group in 2014 as our Veterans Law Paralegal. She speaks fluent Spanish, having graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Literature.

After completing her degree, Nicole worked as an Immigration Paralegal until she joined the United States Marine Corps in 2008, serving for four years as a Commissioned Officer in Camp Lejeune North Carolina and Afghanistan. Her formal Military Occupational Specialty was Ground Supply Officer. In 2010, she was selected to lead a Female Engagement Team which deployed to Afghanistan in 2011. She also served as the Officer-in-Charge of a Female Search Team Program based out of Camp Leatherneck in Afghanistan.

Since 2012, Nicole served as the Veterans Counselor and Board Secretary at Escondido Veterans Services. In 2015, Nicole completed her MBA with a concentration in Business Leadership from California State University, while also serving as the elected President of her cohort.

Nicole has personal experience navigating the VA disability claims process. She has successfully managed her own appeal as well as those of her family members. She knows first hand how difficult the lengthy and complex process of obtaining benefits can be.
