Mark Lippman
Founder/Attorney
I’ve been representing disabled veterans and their families since 1996. Over the years, I’ve argued cases in every VA regional office across the country, before the Board of Veterans’ Appeals, the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, the Federal Circuit, and even the United States Supreme Court. But no matter how far I’ve taken a case, what drives me hasn’t changed: I believe veterans deserve someone in their corner who won’t give up.
This work is personal for me. My father served during the Korean War and practiced law after his service. He used to talk about the mutual respect and clarity he found in the military—how things made sense in a way civilian life sometimes doesn’t. That stuck with me. And years later, when I had the chance to represent veterans, I found myself drawn to it—not just because of my legal background, but because of the people.
Veterans are some of the most grounded, hard-working clients I’ve ever had the privilege to serve. Many are quietly carrying emotional or physical injuries, doing their best just to stay afloat. When I show up for them—when my team and I put in the work—they notice. And they’re grateful. That kind of trust and reciprocity… it’s rare, and it’s what keeps me doing this every day.
Before founding Veterans Law Group, I worked as a federal appellate attorney. But once I stepped into this space, I never looked back. Today, our firm remains one of the few firms exclusively dedicated to helping veterans and their dependents navigate the VA system. We focus on the cases that matter most: PTSD, MST, traumatic brain injuries, toxic exposures, orthopedic and neurological conditions—claims that impact a veteran’s ability to live, work, and provide for their families.
We’re a boutique firm by design. We don’t run a high-volume operation. We take our time, build strong cases, and treat our clients like people—not case files. Most of our staff have personal ties to the military. We’ve walked the road beside veterans and their families. We know the stakes. And we’re all in.
To the veteran—or the spouse, partner, or caregiver reading this:
You’ve carried enough. If you’re here, you’re likely frustrated, exhausted, or just looking for someone who understands what you’re up against. I want you to know that you’re not alone. We’re ready to listen, to help, and to fight for what you’ve earned. When you work with us, you’ll have a team that shows up with heart, skill, and real commitment—because your service mattered, and this fight does too.
